access to all BoP ATMs throughout West Bank and
Gaza for cash withdrawals and other electronic
banking functions, but you can also use them for
ATMs and retail purchases at merchants
displaying the Visa/Plus logo any where in the
world.

How it works:
A debit card is not a credit
card, so you cannot spend more money than what
you have in your current account. A debit card
allows you to pay for goods and services with
funds drawn directly from your bank account,
either USD, JOD or ILS account.
It works somewhat like an electronic cheque, but
is more convenient and secure.
Simply swipe your BoP Visa Electron Debit Card
through a point of sale terminal bearing a Visa
Logo, enter your unique PIN number, and the
goods or services are paid for electronically
out of the desired account.
The days of carrying cash around to pay for
goods are coming to an end.
International
Networks are available:
MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, and Maestro
debit card cardholders networks enable you to
pay for goods using your card at any merchant
displaying the MasterCard, Maestro, Visa and
Visa Electron logo around the country.
Your ability to purchase therefore only depends
on whether you have the necessary funds in your
account, and not upon whether the transaction is
within the limits set by the merchant.
