Shawa participates in the European Arabic Banking dialogue in Brussels

Mr. Hashim Shawa, general manager of the Bank of Palestine, participates in the International Arab Banking Summit in the Belgian capital Brussels on the 28th June under the title “Arab European Dialogue Banking”

Deputy of Palestinian Monetary Authority, Dr. Jihad Al Wazeer participated in the summit, as well 200 other business people and a number of Arab and European banks Governors, and representatives of the world bank and the American Federal Reserve.

In a press release, Mr. Shawa pointed that the summit this year discussed vital and important issues that concerns banking sector including basil 2 and Arab banking business.

He also added that he met the governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Dr. Omya Touqan and other managers of international correspondent banks.

Mr.Shawa assured that Palestinian banking sector’s situation is stable despite all the complexity of the political situation.
